Take a job that you love...Warren Buffett

"There comes a time when you ought to start doing what you want. Take a job that you love. You will jump out of bed in the morning. I think you are out of your mind if you keep taking jobs that you don't like because you think that it will look good on your resume. Isn't that a little like saving up sex for your old age?"

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Spending a life getting up and going to a job that you hate, with people you don't respect, leads to frustration and discontent, which you bring home with you from work and share with your family, which makes them unhappy as well. This, of course, makes for a lousy life for everyone you love, including yourself. It is much better to find a job that you love. Then, going to work puts a smile on your face, which you can take home with you at the end of the day to share with your loved ones. And if you are worried about money, keep in mind that the people who love what they are doing are the ones who rise to the top of their fields and end up making the most money, be it poor Russian immigrant who couldn't read but loved to sell furniture or the nerdy son of the grocery clerk who had a thing for numbers and stocks. Do what you love and the money will come. It worked for them and it will work for you.

(The above comes from item 55 of The Tao of Warren Buffet t- Warren Buffett's words of wisdom explained, by Mary Buffett & David Clark)

*Absolutely describing my current situation. Great advice. Must use this to make things work for me
