After Work Rendezvous

Work has been very stressful and everybody is filled to the brim. Finally, someone suggested having a gathering after work so that we could all go out together and destress. So we had arranged for last night, 9 Apr to do so since today is a public holiday (Good Friday).

9 of us went, excluding 4 others who couldn't make it. We had steamboat buffet at the Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao outlet at Holland Village. I actually did not know what Crystal has got steamboat buffet.


Here's the place. Was very crowded when we reached at about 8.15pm. Table wasn't ready though we had booked earlier for 9 of us for 8.30pm. I think we went in slightly past 8.30pm.


Had a comfortable table, gathered with 9 hungarians (not as in nationality, but hungry folks who had waited since 6pm till 8.30pm for dinner). We were all waiting for food to arrive. Started off with ordering 8 baskets of xiao long bao (5 in each basket, and that makes 40!)

We thought the xiao long bao would arrive first to heal our empty tummies, but in the end, the prawns came instead. So we attacked the prawns, throwing them into the yuan-yang clear and ma la soup base.
