The view was very nice as it is on the 3rd level of Vivo with a garden, sentosa view, whatever you call it. The moment I stepped into the restaurant, the first thing that caught my eyes were the special sofas - in the design of palms.
This is the deco near the entrance. Mmmm...the statue must be that of Hua Tuo.
While waiting for our food to arrive. The table appetizer (long beans and toufu fried with dried shrimp chilli) was very nice and appetizing!
Laying back, enjoying the comfort of the sofa while waiting for food to be served. Very hungry!
This was the recommended appetizer by the captain. It's fluffy egg white with dried scallop. It's served in a deep fried potato nest base. A very delicious appetizer, esp with pepper (as recommended) but got a little gelat three quarter way down. Overall, it's a nice dish.
What's eating in a herbal restaurant without some herbal stuff? Hubby ordered some fish soup. We flipped through the menu, there were so many kinds of herbal soup which we were not very sure how to get the right one. So whatever we ordered were recommended by the very helpful captain.
This is my cordyceps soup with lean meat, lotus seeds, dried longans and some roots thingie (which i don't know what that was). Nice soup.
