Upgraded System

Hahaha, finally I am into broadband, after holding on to my dial up for more than a decade. Quite sorry to give it up because of the low cost, but of course I have to bear with the slow speed. With the broadband, I feel soooooo shiok!

Now I have a faster connection. But, my notebook is going to conked off. Sigh, we really can't have the best of both worlds, can we? Anyway, time to source for a new notebook. Anyone has any good and low cost recommendations?

I have also upgraded my Windows Live Messenger and hey, there is also a space for blog. So I am also trying out that one, uttering some rubbish and see where that gets me to.

Lift Etiquette

Have you encountered one of these irritating encounters when you take the lifts? Of course unless you stay in low floors.

I stay on the 12th floor. The lifts stop on the 1st, 5th, 9th and 13th floors. And whenever I enter the lift with more than 1 person, some smart aleck (or just simply too lazy to open his/her mouth) will start pressing all floors. He or she thinks she is being smart by catering to everyone on every floor (worse still, this smart aleck can even press all floors when there are only two of us!). And when this happens, I am 99% sure (and often 99% right) that the irritating fellow will get out of the lift on the 5th floor!

So lower floors folks, be sensitive. You get out at the lower floor but the rest are going to get stopped on every other floors that you so 'kindly' help to press the buttons.

I really feel like kicking the asses out of these people. If you do not wish to open your mouth, then keep your itchy fingers in your pockets as well!

It's really irritating....
